USCIS Response to the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19)

    Beginning March 18th, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services will be suspending any in-person interactions to practice social distancing until at least April 1st. The following will be rescheduled for a later date:

  • Scheduled interview appointments (both domestic and at consulates)
  • Naturalization ceremonies
  • Biometrics Appointments
  • Asylum interviews

    Although in-person interactions are being suspended for the time being, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services will continue to perform regular duties that do not involve interacting with the public. However, if there is a need for an emergency appointment, please go to the USCIS Contact Center
